A hands-on team, not a call centre

Truelife Solutions was built on one idea: businesses in Kenya deserve IT support that's actually accountable — engineers who show up, systems that get documented, and pricing with no surprises.

Our Story

Ten years of keeping Kenyan businesses running

Truelife Solutions started with a simple frustration: too many businesses in Nairobi were stuck between expensive enterprise IT vendors and unreliable freelance "IT guys." Neither option scaled with a growing business, and neither one stuck around when things went wrong — or knew how to build the software that business increasingly needed on top of its hardware.

So we built the team we wished existed — engineers who treat your infrastructure like it's their own, whether that's a five-person office needing a helpdesk, an NGO running a nationwide programme on shaky connectivity, or a retail chain that can't afford its CCTV to go dark for a week.

Today, that means managed IT support, structured networking, security systems, and hardware supply — but it's grown well beyond that. Over the years, client requests kept pointing the same direction: "can you also build us a website," "can you connect this to M-Pesa," "can we get a proper database instead of a spreadsheet." So we built out a full software engineering practice alongside the hardware side — web platforms, mobile apps, custom business systems, and the integrations that tie them together.

It means the same team that racks your network switch can also ship the internal system that runs on top of it. One point of contact, from the cabling to the codebase.

We're delivered by a Kenyan-based team that understands local ISPs, power realities, and procurement processes, because we navigate them every day too. We're still small enough that you'll know your engineer — or your developer — by name. That's on purpose.

What We Stand For

Four things we don't compromise on

01

Show up on time

A missed appointment costs you a day. We treat your schedule like it matters, because it does.

02

Say the honest thing

If you don't need it, we won't sell it to you. If something's broken beyond repair, we'll say so.

03

Document everything

Every install, every config change — recorded, so you're never held hostage by tribal knowledge.

04

Fix root causes

We'd rather solve the reason your network keeps dropping than send an invoice every time it does.
